Miracle is an Appaloosa, which makes her quite rare in the world of alpacas. The AOA Show System Handbook defines an appaloosa alpaca as one whose blanket fiber exhibits six or more spots of distinct (easily identified by the naked eye) secondary color(s) of which the primary color is not grey.
Unlike standard alpacas who have fiber made up of one color, Miracle has a multitude of colors throughout her brown coat. From brown and grey to white, Miracle’s markings are distinct and they grow more plentiful as she ages.
Miracle is the daughter of Lots of Bubbles, who is also an appaloosa. Both mother and daughter have extremely calm and sweet personalities.
