Nibbler

Nibbler, also known as Fun in the Country’s Tourmaline, was born to Fun in the Country’s High Velocity and Fun in the Country’s Superman in May of 2019. Superman is a Color Champion with 25+ ribbons and banners. High Velocity offers amazing fine fiber that has great longevity and holds a 21 micron count at seven years old.

Nibbler has some of the best fiber on our farm. She has a low micron count, has staple length of over six inches, and amazing density. She produces oodles of luxurious yarn.

Nibbler is full of love and energy! She arrived at our farm in the winter of 2020 and quickly became a major presence in the herd. She actively seeks human affection and demands attention from all those that enter the pasture or barn. She also likes to talk and hum to both alpacas and humans. She is truly a farm favorite of visitors and makes sure everyone enjoys their tour.

Nibbler officially joined our breeding program in the April of 2021 when she was bred to Irish Meadow’s Reputation. Reputation has secured 19 Champion banners, 5 Reserve Champion banners, and 25 first place ribbons. The duo produced a handsome boy that arrived on St. Patrick’s Day in 2022.
